We do our best to match each Companion with you, so their personality and interests suit yours. This helps visits feel natural, comfortable and enjoyable.

Each visit is a chance for you to talk about your life, your memories, your interests — or simply have a friendly chat and put the world to rights if you fancy it. Your Companion will always take their time, making sure the visit is helpful, pleasant and meaningful for you.

You will see the same Companion each time, so you can build a trusting relationship and pick up your conversation right where you left off.

If you would like to get involved in local activities, we can help you find what’s available in your community and accompany you if needed.

Our Companions are here to support older adults, vulnerable people, and younger people who may find certain tasks difficult. We can help with light housework, laundry, bed changing and other small jobs that make your home feel comfortable and calm.

There are no fixed plans or timetables everything is arranged around what you want. Whether it’s running the vacuum cleaner round, sorting out a drawer, or putting photos into albums, we can help with those everyday tasks or the little jobs you never quite get around to. Everything is done gently, at your pace, and in your own time.

Our Companions are fully insured to take you out in their car, helping you stay independent and connected to the places you enjoy. They can take you shopping, help with errands, or simply give you a change of scenery.

You might like to visit the local park, pop to the garden centre for a coffee, or go anywhere else you feel like going. We are also happy to accompany you to appointments, making sure you feel supported every step of the way.

And yes  if you have a dog, we are more than happy to take them for a walk too.

We can help with simple meal preparation and support you to stay independent in your kitchen. If you enjoy planning meals or preparing food together, your Companion will be happy to join in. 

Our aim is to help you feel confident, comfortable and supported in your home not to take over.  This support is suitable for:
