Golden Years Companion Agency provides non‑medical companionship for older adults who live alone, feel isolated, or need gentle support with day‑to‑day life. Our companions are vetted, trained and carefully matched to each client, offering regular visits, meaningful conversation, outings, errands and emotional connection.
We are not a medical or personal‑care service, which means our companionship model does not require CQC registration. Instead, we focus on what matters most: human connection, safety, dignity and social wellbeing.

We are a small friendly local home support group, in East London and Essex. Our companions support older people and vulnerable individuals in our local communities, to enable them to remain independent in their own homes with:
- Friendly home visits
- Conversation, company and emotional support

- Walks, coffee trips and social activities
- Help with technology, letters and daily tasks
- Gentle routine-building and confidence support

Professionals can refer a client in three simple steps:
- Send us the client’s details Name, location, preferred days/times, and any relevant background.
- We arrange an introductory call To understand the client’s needs, personality and preferences.
- We match a suitable companion A vetted companion begins visits once the family or professional approves.
Referrals can be made by Families, GPs, social workers, care coordinators, community teams, private families, or support organisations.
